I Sketched This View from My Airbnb in Bath ✨ Pen and watercolours

Join me for a quiet evening in beautiful Bath Spa, England. After a full day of exploring, I return to my Airbnb and take a peaceful moment to sketch the view right outside my window — a glowing sunset over the hills, a charming church, and the soft evening light settling over the city. With a glass of wine by my side, I slow down and translate this fleeting moment into my sketchbook using ink and watercolors. There’s something truly special about observing the changing light at the end of the day and capturing it in a simple, personal way. In this video, I share my sketching process from the initial pen lines to adding gentle watercolor washes to build the warm sunset atmosphere. Travel sketching helps me preserve meaningful moments from each place I visit. Even a short sketch can hold the memory of a place far longer than a photograph. If you enjoy calm travel vlogs, urban sketching, and quiet creative moments, I hope this video brings you a sense of relaxation and inspiration. If you’d like to sketch with me, I offer online sketching classes for beginners and intermediate students from around the world. Replays are available with lifelong access so you can learn at your own pace. Thank you for watching and being part of this creative journey. 🎨 I'm teaching online classes every week.
