Following the R46 (A) Train ride towards Far Rockaway, I was planning to get a ride in on the Rockaway (S), but I didn’t expect for an R46 to show up on the (RS) because prior to this, it has been over a year since the R46 operated on the Shuttle. Knowing that the R46s were starting to become rare at Pitkin, I knew this would be a golden opportunity to get the at the time rare R46 Rockaway (S) Train. So I would take it and I would decide to come back for the R179 Rockaway (S) Train when I covered the R211A (A) Train to Far Rockaway soon after. As of February 6, 2025, this set that was taken here is currently out of service and in maintenance, but not retired yet. But for now, I hope you guys enjoy this ride that was taken as the construction was in effect over the South Channel Bridge.
