ELECTRIC LOCKER FAILURE ON OUR JEEP! What Happened?!

A few weeks ago, we experienced several loud mechanical POPS coming from the front axle of our Jeep Wrangler during a shakedown run (this was only the 3rd trail that we had taken the Jeep on to test out the new build). Turns out, the sounds we heard were the brand new electric locker failing & skipping teeth. It’s an issue that, after some research, seems to be pretty common recently. So we immediately ordered an air locker as a replacement, and now that it’s arrived…it’s time to tear into the front differential and see for ourselves exactly what the problem was & why the e-locker failed.
