Hybrid technology in passenger transport arrived in Uruguay in 2018, brought by Yutong. The C.O.E.T.C. cooperative was the first to test these vehicles in Montevideo, on its suburban routes. CASANOVA followed suit on its line to Sauce. To learn about the initial results, we visited the CASANOVA workshops to speak with workshop staff, drivers, and supervisors from the company.
