Tips for Sewing Large Piping - Ultrafeed® Sewing Machines

Sewing large cording or piping can be tricky and often requires a roping zipper foot instead of a cording foot, even if the cording foot is labeled "large". Consider this, after the vinyl fabrics are folded over the large cording it may increase the size of the assembly to almost 5/16 in thickness, usually way too thick for most cording feet made.
