Years ago, Dacia allowed those who could only afford used cars to choose a new car. The Dacia Spring follows that philosophy to the letter: it aims to be the gateway to electric mobility for everyone. It hasn't done badly since its launch. It was the best-selling electric model in Europe to private buyers in 2022 and 2023, behind only Tesla. In 2024, sales fell by 63%. Aid was phased out in some countries, and more alternatives entered the market. The answer: the new 2025 Dacia Spring. It's attractive for its price, available from €19,100 without discounts. It's an ideal car for everyday city driving: a perfect complement to the Group's other two small options, the more comprehensive Renault 5 and the sporty Alpine A290. In this update, the model's design has been revised to distance it from its once-cheap image. They've maintained that crossover feel and improved its interior. Don't expect luxuries, but don't expect anything too cheap either. It's not a perfect family car (unless you never travel by car), given its battery capacity and high-speed handling. But it is a perfect second family car: it's fuel-efficient and has a low price that, currently, only Leapmotor can compete with.
