In 1946, construction began on this hotel complex in the city of Chapadmalal, marking the birth of social tourism in Argentina so that workers could enjoy their right to vacation on the beaches of our Atlantic Coast. This tourist complex, comprised of nine enormous buildings, housed nearly 8,000 people and provided employment for another 1,000. This property suffered significant neglect under various administrations.
