Thank you so much for watching this video. This is Arakan Marin. There's only a little time left until 2025. For me, the past three years have been truly hectic. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I noticed stagnation in my home, and decided to start decluttering. Four years ago, I could never have imagined that a major life decision awaited me: giving up my home in Chiba, where I'd lived for 23 years, and moving to Fukushima at the end of my 50s. As I mentioned in the video, even now, having given up the major structure of my home, there are nights when I'm overcome by loneliness and the conflict of being a parent and wonder if I made the right choice. My days haven't been as sparkling as I'd hoped... I've had fights with my husband, had to deal with tidying up again, and am living the hectic and worrying life of a "real person in their 60s" every day (laughs). But it was precisely because I let go of my possessions that I found peace of mind knowing that even if the tangible form is gone, the memories remain in my heart, and I discovered a more light-hearted self ready to try new things.
