Water Broke Out! The Miracle of South Sudan | Lee Tae-seok 2.0 Project 'Fountain of Hope' Fifteen years have passed since the war ended. However, for the disabled veterans of South Sudan, another war has not ended. It is the war to obtain the 'water of life.' A grueling life continues, involving walking tens of kilometers a day to find clean water. Wherever we visit, we hear a single plea: "Please build a well." To respond to this earnest wish, the Lee Tae-seok Foundation launched the 'Lee Tae-seok 2.0 Project.' The first project was to present the 'Fountain of Hope' to a village of disabled war veterans. Two days of drilling work to bore through the parched earth to a depth of 180 meters. At the moment everyone waited with bated breath, the water of life finally gushed forth like a miracle. At that moment, shouts of deep emotion echoed through the site. "Thank you, Father Lee Tae-seok!" Approximately 1,000 villagers and ministers and vice-ministers from five ministries of the South Sudanese government attended the inauguration ceremony to share in the joy. Representing the government, the attendees expressed their deep gratitude to the people of the Republic of Korea and the sponsors.
