My Recent Metal Albums: What I've Been Listening To Lately

Over the past couple of weeks I've been on a bit of a melodic kick. I've gravitated toward mid-paced metal with strong dynamics and plenty of room to breathe. In this video I share my thoughts on the brand new Metal Church album after a few spins, plus some revisits to older favorites. That includes a deeper look at the often controversial Dissection album Reinkaos and their Maha Kali 7" single. The list spans everything from Melodic Death Metal and classic Heavy Metal to Progressive Metal, with a solid dive into British Heavy Metal and NWOBHM royalty.
