Began receiving instruction in flower arrangement from her grandmother, Rishun Hattori, the founder of Koryu Toyokai, and her mother, Riho Miyamoto, the second head of the school, at the age of two. She has participated in the Ryuten exhibition since her university days. She has exhibited at the Ikebana International World Convention and the Japan Ikebana Art Exhibition. In 2009, she became the Vice Headmaster of the Koryu Toyokai Suiboku Hana-tame (ink-painting flower ceremony) school. Since then, she has been invited to numerous international events, including demonstrations in Tunisia, Saudi Arabia ("Janadriah Festival"), and the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory's international festival "The Heart of Japan," as well as Moscow, Russia. She has received awards such as the All Japan Ikebana Competition Special Jury Prize. She is a full member of the Ikebana Art Association and a member of Ikebana International.
