I Was WRONG About Live and Let Die...
I never really liked Live and Let Die. For years, it sat near the bottom of my James Bond rankings. Roger Moore's debut just never clicked with me... until now. Rewatching it as part of my Bond in Focus marathon completely changed my perspective. Looking at it in the context of Diamonds Are Forever, Roger Moore's first outing suddenly makes so much more sense. Guy Hamilton's direction, George Martin's score, the Caribbean setting, Baron Samedi and Roger Moore's unique take on Bond all came together in a way I'd never appreciated before. Is Live and Let Die actually one of the franchise's most important soft reboots? Or does one major flaw still hold it back? I'd love to hear where this one sits in your Bond rankings. 👍 If you enjoyed the review, please like, subscribe and join the conversation in the comments.
