Daily Recap July 26th 2026 I let Jer sleep until late because once again the weather messed with his secretions. I’m extremely thankful for all of the medical equipment to keep his airway clear. Some days may start off rough but that doesn’t determine the end of the day. I did the same routine as yesterday putting Jer in his chair to help me in the kitchen. He was so uninterested and ignored me until I gave him a lollipop. It made me think of getting the cake spoon in the kitchen as a child. Interestingly enough I made his special breakfast rice and he didn’t want to eat any. He played for a few and cuddled ofcourse. We ended up putting him to stand and he was not happy when it wasn’t moving. He was excited to be down the hallway and even navigate his way around our small kitchen. I worry about the house being too small for his needs, but then there are days like today that he shows me that freedom in a small space is still possible, normal moments are still possible and if he can do it, then why can’t we… Today we pray that you know God can do so much with just a little. That mountain in front of you that you perceive, may you trust God even if it’s with just a mustard seed of faith. May we never forget that God is good yesterday, today, tomorrow and forevermore. 💚🙏 Happy Sunday 💚🙏
