Exploring Downtown Banff & Banff Gondola to Mt. Sulphur

In this video we'll show you around Downtown Banff as well as make a stop at Beaver Tails (Famous pastry shop in Banff). We end the tour with a ride up (and down) on the Banff Gondola to the top of Mount Sulphur. Once you have bought your tickets online for the Banff Gondola and want to avoid the Banff Gondola parking lot (especially in the high season), you can easily take the #1 Rome bus (its the local Banff city bus) from downtown Banff and they will drop you off (last stop) at the Banff Gondola. They will pick you up as well and will take you back down to downtown Banff. They are very easy to navigate and they come to Banff Gondola every 15 mins and run until 11:59pm. I would absolutely recommend taking the Rome bus so you aren't fighting to park in the lot as it can get filled up FAST during the high season! Ride the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for breathtaking 360° views of Banff National Park and the surrounding Canadian Rockies — one of the park’s most unforgettable experiences. Important Travel Tip: The Banff Gondola is popular — book tickets in advance, especially in summer, to avoid long waits!
