TUTUR.co.id - The 6.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Central Sulawesi on Tuesday (June 16th) triggered panic among residents in several areas, including Palu City, Sigi Regency, Poso, Donggala, and Parigi Moutong. The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) and the local Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) immediately conducted a rapid assessment to map the impact and damage caused by the earthquake, which was centered on land at a depth of 10 kilometers. Preliminary reports noted damage to several buildings in Palu City, Sigi Regency, and Parigi Moutong, although details of the damage are still being compiled.
