FULL ROUTE VISUAL | Arriva North East 96 | Whitby - Lealholmside

As a final video for 2023, I have decided to upload an FRV I filmed of the Arriva North East 96 back in late October. Whilst the 840 and the X93 are known for being the routes to explore the North Yorkshire Moors, the 96 remains seemingly much more unknown. It only runs a handful of journeys a day and serves as a feeder service for the villages in the Esk Valley as the local train line only runs every 4 hours. The route has a lovely community feel where everyone knows each other which is always lovely to see. However, that aside this route is absolutely beautiful and despite maybe not being as pretty as the 840 or X93 it is definitely far more rural and quaint, with some insane gradients of up to 33% (1/3) tackled by this poor solo.
