PATI - The Pati Police Criminal Investigation Unit's Mobile Brigade Team has successfully solved a murder case that occurred in the Terpus Reservoir area, Beketel Village, Kayen District, Pati Regency. The perpetrator, identified as WTM, was arrested after fleeing to South Kalimantan. Pati Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Jaka Wahyudi, through the Head of the Pati Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Commissioner Dika Hadian Widya Wiratama, stated that this success was the result of the hard work of the Skyfox Anti-Bandit Team, Mobile Brigade Unit (URC) of the Pati Police Criminal Investigation Unit. After the incident, the perpetrator was known to have fled the area. However, the investigative team continues to investigate and track down his whereabouts. After receiving accurate information, officers moved to South Kalimantan and successfully apprehended WTM without resistance. "The perpetrator has been apprehended and is currently undergoing an investigation to uncover the motive and the full chronology of the crime," Commissioner Dika confirmed to reporters on Monday (June 22, 2026).
