We can’t catch a break… we drove the 1950 Ford to a local pub and it broke down 😞

Today we’re taking the ‘50 Ford out for a proper Sunday Funday cruise to a local pub to meet up with Colton and his girlfriend Deanne. But this isn’t just a joyride — it’s a test drive before next weekend’s FredRod Show in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where we’re special guests and hoping to drive this car there. We recently swapped in a new starter, and the goal today is to see if everything runs smooth... no starting issues, no weird rattles, no surprises. The good news? We made it to the pub just fine. The bad news? When it came time to leave… it didn’t want to start. Again. Possibly a flooding issue or maybe the ole Ford is playing hard to get? 🫤 On top of that, the front bumper is rattling like crazy, so it’s back to the shop for a few more tweaks. We’re determined to iron out every bug before next weekend.
