Engine swapping our 1980 Daihatsu KEI Mini Truck

In our previous video we purchased this Daihatsu S38 mini truck for $1000. We attempted to get it running, only to discover that it had some chunks missing from one of the pistons. We ordered new pistons+rings and sent them to the engine shop to bore them, but unfortunately they never got to it. Small engine warehouse approached us and offered to send us an engine so we chose to put in a 23 HP Briggs and Stratton Vanguard engine. Levi and Luke attempt to engineer something that many people have done before, however this is our first time doing this. We made lots of mistakes, but we learned a lot, and had fun while doing it. It turns out that gearing really matters! We have some plans to make this rig quicker in the future, but for now enjoy watching us create the slowest mini truck of all time!
