Third Charter Anniversary Celebrations of Sullurupeta SHAR Lions Club

The 3rd Charter Anniversary of the Sullurupeta SHAR Lions Club was celebrated grandly on May 14, 2026. The event commenced with an opening address by the current Region Chairman, MJF Lion Adarsh Boggarapu Krishnamurthy. Notably, he is the only Region Chairman in the district to have received the Lion Leadership Medal from the International President, Lion A.P. Singh. Distinguished Guests and Attendees The ceremony saw participation from several senior Lions District representatives and dignitaries, including: MJF Lion P. Sriramulu – District Advisor, Lion Dr. Audiishesha Reddy – District Region Secretary, Lion I. Prasad & Lion Sri Ranjani – Zone Chairmen, Lion Murali Naidu & Lion V.R. Mohan – Past Zone Chairmen, Lion Rupesh Reddy, Raju, & Ravichandra Reddy – Presidents, Gudur Club, Lion Krishna Kumar – President, Nellore Club Service Activities and Awards To mark this milestone, the club organized several philanthropic activities: Educational Excellence: Meritorious 10th-grade students from government schools (2025-26 batch) were honored with mementos, merit certificates, a ₹1,000 cash prize, and water bottles to encourage their future endeavors. Support for Laborers: Sarees, lungis, and towels were distributed to 12 laborers. Healthcare Support: A hearing aid was provided and fitted for a person with speech and hearing impairments. Conclusion During their addresses, the Chief Guest and Special Guests highlighted the essence of Lionism, offering valuable advice and suggestions for future service projects. The event concluded with the felicitation of the guests and a formal vote of thanks by the organizers.
