In this diagram, I jumper the pump's consumer to the coil and nozzle key terminals. Don't do it this way. Jumper the auxiliary pump's negative actuator to the coil and nozzle relay negative terminals. Because negative is the best jumper, when the fuel pump's negative signal activates the pump, the same negative terminal will activate the nozzles and coil. The positive, negative, and key terminals on the relay panel are exclusive to accessories. To facilitate organization, they do not apply to programmable injection, which must be connected to the negative and power ground directly to the battery or according to the Fueltech manual. The injection positive must come from a relay, through a consumer pin. Never connect it directly to the battery without protection. Remember to take care of the grounding: ground the engine block, ground the relay panel, and ground your injection according to the manual. In the case of Fueltech, it recommends grounding the module directly to the battery, without splices or segmentation. Create extra grounding terminals to connect to the can, the coil connectors, the relay panel's negative terminal, the electric fan connector's negative terminal, and the fuel pump connector's negative terminal for backup and return exhaust. Be careful with grounding; 99% of electronic fuel injection problems stem from poor grounding. I couldn't afford crimping pliers, so I soldered all the connections and insulated them with heat shrink and marine braid. If this is your first relay panel, avoid using marine braid; opt for automotive corrugated wire. Read your electronic fuel injection manufacturer's instructions carefully. Don't confuse battery ground with engine block ground. Ground both to the same screw. Respect electrical installation standards, such as wire gauge and installation and insulation rules. Do not run actuators together with sensors, nor share relays between them. Separate the wiring for these components. Keep wiring away from areas exposed to water and high heat. Separate sensor paths to avoid noise, such as coil and fan wiring, noise-generating nozzles, and sensor wiring paths.
