Leyla Gencer Documentary - Turkish Television 1991

Leyla Gencer Documentary on TRT, Turkish National Television. Her husband, co-workers from her early career in Turkey, students and scenes from turkish performing art venues. The full documentary was part of a series of Turkish State Artists (a title given by the Republic to those who achieved international fame in arts, no longer given and provides artists with access to protocols and VIP lounges) filmed in early 90's. Leyla Gencer received this title late in her career in 1987. For some reason, TRT archives removed this serie from the webpage and I could only capture a part of it. There is a new documentary film (2019) about her containing lots of unpublished material, especially one from a long interview from early 2000's that was partially published for a TV program.
