Sinap Yörükleri-Toroslar

Yörük refers to the Turkish people who have preserved their nomadic lifestyle. Yörük is the essence of the Turkic people. It is also used to describe the Turkmen tribes (oblasts) who live in Anatolia, both in the summer and winter pastures. They constitute a significant majority of the Anatolian population, especially in the Aegean region. There is also a large number of Yörüks among the Turks in the Balkans. Yörüks who still live as nomads are concentrated in the Mediterranean and Aegean regions.
