In this video we discuss how to build a pitfall trap, what types you can make and show off some of the cool insects you can find using this technique. This technique is great for gathering ground insects for collections or just to see what types of insects are around is using pitfall traps. These traps do the collecting work for you as long as you check them often. They can be made to fit a variety of circumstances.
