MN Arrowhead Bikepacking • Day 2: 40 Miles in the Rain
Day 2 of our Minnesota Arrowhead bikepacking adventure turned into a true test of grit. We rode 40 miles through steady rain, slick mud, and the biggest climbing day of the trip — 2,700 feet of elevation that felt heavier with every soaked pedal stroke. Even with the weather working against us, the day had its own kind of beauty. The forest was quiet, the trail was raw, and every mile felt earned. And just as we reached the end of the day, the rain finally broke and the sky opened into blue. The sunlight on the lakes and timbers was the perfect reward after a hard, wet ride. Thanks for joining us for Day 2 — this one reminded us why the tough days make the good ones even sweeter.
