EXPLORING CHIP TUNES : Episode #001
Welcome to EXPLORING CHIP TUNES, a monthly show where a panel of musicians and artists, with varying levels of experience, analyze a specific piece of chip music with an eye on craft. In this inaugural episode, we'll be looking at WHAT KIND OF DAY HAS IT BEEN, the opening track of Nick Maynard's latest release, "ELECTRONIC MUSIC". As Nick walks us through his programming, he's joined by veteran LSDJ user Robert Mostyn ( http://bclikesyou.bandcamp.com/ ) and filmmaker Dan Gocek, who has no previous experience with programming, trackers, or chip music. Want to see a particular song or artist discussed on the show? Email your suggestions and SAV files to [email protected] with the subject "EXPLORING CHIP TUNES". EXPLORING CHIP TUNES is a Rochester Chip production. http://nickmaynard.bandcamp.com/album... http://www.rochesterchip.org Title Sequence / Editing : Nick Maynard Rochester Chip Logo : Robert Mostyn Additional Camera Work : Dan Gocek "Identity Formation" by An0va can be found here - http://an0va.bandcamp.com/album/the-t...
