Kristin is a school principal who is passionate about working with teachers to help students learn in a way that sticks through spiralling curriculum. Through her funny and engaging talk, she shares the power of recursive teaching in math with some phenomenal results for student learning through changing teacher practice. Kristin Phillips has a passion for educational change. She works closely with teachers and administrators at the school and board level to bring about pedagogical change based on current research and practices. Her current interest is "recursive teaching" in order to better engage students and promote learning that "sticks". She is currently a principal at a grade 7-8 school in Kitchener, ON.
