Samson Q9X Mic Review (VS Q9U, MV7X, PodMic, SM7B, AT2040, PO-8, SM58, Beta 58A and MORE!)

This is a review and test of the Samson Q9X... Even more than that, it also includes comparisons featuring mics that could be considered the Q9X's competition (I'll label those mics below). In addition to having a blind comparison, like usual, I also open up this video going back and forth between the Samson Q9X and the Samson Q9U. THESE MICS DO NOT SOUND IDENTICAL. The Q9X has a "tweaked" capsule to optimize the sound (what Samson told me). I was eager to test this mic out and see if the sound really had been improved since I wasn't crazy about the sound of the Q9U. If you are considering purchasing the Q9X I would encourage you to listen to the tests, comparisons, and make sure the features and accessories and what you need.
