How to Play "Slideshow"
What a fun and active way to tell a story. Pick one narrator and 2+ actors to embody your story. The actors stand with their back to the audience while the narrator begins their story. They introduce each new picture by telling the actors what they are about to be. For example, "This is a photo of me riding a bike with my dad" or "this is a slow-motion video of us running away from the bear!". You can use this game in the classroom to make persuasive speaking even more fun, in the rehearsal room to imagine back stories for your characters, or in the living room!
