Add an extra door stop position, on Ducato Boxer or Relay sliding door, spending almost nothing!

In this video I show you how to create a 'door hold position' half way between open and closed on your panel van sliding door. For those with basic hand tools and a few basic materials in their garage, this will cost nothing to achieve, or a few pounds spent in any DIY store. This is how I chose to achieve this effect. I am showing how I did it for your interest and entertainment, and not because its THE way you should do it. Also note that this new MIDDLE position is a 'detent' position and not a locked position. So the door can still move if pushed, pulled, or knocked hard enough. Or if you park on a steep enough hill then Gravity will still either open or close it. (Only the fully open and Fully closed positions will require use of the door handle to move the door.) Link to a half round Grit file.
