1966 Porsche 912 - Jetting and Syncing Solex Carburetors
This took a while to put together, mostly because I was waiting on parts between shots. I first started looking only at the main jets, but then noticed the main air and idle jets were all oversized. Bought some new ones and got the car working a lot better, but still needs work. I also included a syncing procedure that works well for me using the stock split shaft carbs from later 912's. The Solex 40-PII. These carbs were only put on later 912's but came with mine. They are unique in that you can adjust each throat's butterfly relatively easily. I hear most people delete this once rebuilt but I wanted to document it here before I go down that route. Thanks for watching!
