Fish Farming with Dishwasher Pumps, Clothes Washers, and Gomes' Aquaponics System - 01/09/2017 Hello my friends, this Sunday we visited our friend Gomes in Roseira, SP. We were very happy and excited by the reception and even more so by the results of his Gomes Aquaponics System. Exactly 1 month and 5 days after receiving him at our home and sharing water from our system, colonized substrates, aquatic plants, some taro seedlings, yam, mint, and about 50 tilapia and some lambari, we were certain that this start was a success!!! Watch the video and see how the water quality, oxygenation, filtration, grow bed, and NFT are doing... ...several vegetables have already been harvested and new ones have been sown directly in the PVCs and are already developing very well. We are very happy and can see that aquaponics can be practiced everywhere; it just takes a little dedication and love, as our friend Gomes has been demonstrating in his aquaponics system.
