A Sleeper Vintage Microphone for Less than $40??? - Sony ECM-95S Review
In today's video we are recording the Sony ECM-95S, which was produced in the 1970's to record to tape players. This is an electret-condenser, which is fairly common for consumer microphones from the time period. I do cover a brief overview of the difference between what is normally simply referred to as a "condenser" microphone vs what an "electret-condenser" is, as that is not seen as often when shopping for microphones today I was honestly blown away by the quality of this microphone, especially considering how much I paid for it ($30) on eBay and the age of it. I definitely see myself using this microphone in the future and not have it just collect dust in my collection, but let me know what you think!
