We become so focused on what we lack, on obstacles and circumstances, that we lose perspective on who God is and what He can do. Faith doesn't grow when we look at our incapacities. Faith grows when we learn to look to God above them. This doesn't mean ignoring reality or pretending that challenges don't exist. It means understanding that our limitations are not greater than God's presence, guidance, and power in our lives.
