Ol Kalou set for by-election amid tight security

Ol Kalou Constituency is set for Thursday's high-stakes by-election under heavy security, with more than 1,000 police officers deployed to maintain law and order. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission says preparations for the poll have been completed, with more than 70,000 registered voters expected to cast their ballots. The heightened security follows the deployment announced by Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja ahead of the exercise.
