We travel the UK in Merlin with our three little dogs, Maya, Luna and Jazz. We are Wizard in the Wild. Our love of the great outdoors combined with Ellie’s post-cancer complications means our home on wheels with creature comforts is a perfect solution. A great way to explore nature on good days and a cosy little bolt-hole for the others. We bought Merlin in 2021 after six years of travel in our motor home Merv. Whilst we enjoyed our adventures in Merv, we wanted something smaller and more nimble, so we could explore those tucked away places off the beaten track. Hence Merlin. Initially we only used campsites, but as time goes on we are going off-grid more regularly and really loving it. The aim of the channel is to reveal the true beauty of nature whatever the weather! We also feel it’s important to show the reality of van life, and not just the good bits when the sun is shining. Whatever the weather, our motto is to just get out in nature. It’s good for the soul!
