Hi, I've come up with a fantastic recipe for those of you looking for a perfectly proportioned, wet semolina halva, like me. For a twist, I also made a chocolate version. Both turned out great, and after the video was over, I grated orange zest over the chocolate one. I hope you'll read the description and see how well it went. There's not much I can explain in writing; it's a pretty easy and straightforward recipe, but incredibly delicious. Just pay attention to the color of the semolina, if you want a nice, hazelnut-like flavor. Besides that, bon appetit for those who are already trying it. I'll be adding more recipes, though they'll be shorter, so stay tuned :) INGREDIENTS For the syrup 400 ml (2 cups) water 300 g (1.5 cups) granulated sugar Helva 300 g (2 cups) semolina 150 g (3/4 cup) butter 40 g chocolate will be added for half of the recipe. If you're making it all chocolate, add 80 g. Keep in mind that orange zest also goes very well with it.
