It’s easy to remove, and honestly, I personally wouldn’t bother reinstalling it. The truck is this video ram without the shield for some time before this repair. Fuel pressure spec by the book is 50-54psi. Seeing pressure values of 56-62 psi is common and ideal. Would recommend a fuel tank lock ring removal tool. You could get by with a hammer and screwdriver and punch if your careful, but a proper tool will it easier. Also a specialty pair of pliers for the quick connect vent line by the filler neck is nice to have, although not necessary.
