Leslie Ore and boyfriend Josh, from Virginia Beach, Virginia, had been together four years after meeting at a difficult time in both their lives, with their support for each other helping their relationship grow. In January 2025 Leslie fell pregnant, saying it affirmed everything they had been working towards coming to fruition, so she couldn’t wait to tell Josh he was set to become a father for the first time. Leslie created a gift box, containing items like her positive pregnancy test, baby booties, a pacifier, baby shampoo and a baby scrapbook. On January 10, the couple headed to a meal at Outback Steakhouse in Kempsville, where staff had earlier been informed of Leslie's big surprise.
