The good news is that it’s an easy repair you can do at home with minimal tools. In this video, I’ll show you step-by-step how to replace a broken rear window regulator and get your power window working like new again. Common signs your window regulator is failing: • Rear window won’t go up or down • Window moves crooked or falls into the door • Grinding, clicking, or popping noises inside the door • Window moves slowly or gets stuck halfway • Switch works but nothing happens 🔧 Tools You’ll Need Basic socket set Screwdrivers trim removal tool (optional. flathead will work) Torx bits Replacement window regulator (OEM or aftermarket) painters tape That’s it — no specialty tools, no dealer visit, and no $300+ shop bill. NOTES - Use painter’s tape to hold the glass in place while swapping regulators. Compare your new regulator to the old one before bolting it in to make sure it matches. Dont forget to move over the clip for the screw from your old one before throwing it away!
