On March 9, 2026, I stayed at Kyukamura Minami Awaji, located on a hill within the Seto Inland Sea National Park in Minami Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture. Kyukamura Minami Awaji is one of the most popular Kyukamura resorts, boasting a high overall rating of 4.55 on accommodation booking websites. The hotel has an observatory where you can observe the beautiful stars from Minami Awaji. Star watching is also held every night from 8 PM by the Star Rangers, and guests can participate for free. The dining kitchen, Awaji Island Kitchen, which underwent a major renovation in July 2025, offers a panoramic view of Fukura Bay, and the approximately 11-meter-long open kitchen allows you to enjoy freshly prepared dishes such as sashimi, sushi, and tempura made with fresh fish. From the indoor and outdoor baths of the Minami Awaji Onsen Shiosai no Yu, the Great Naruto Bridge spanning the Naruto Strait unfolds before your eyes, and the breathtaking scenery is sure to soothe your daily fatigue.
