Stock 500i vs Franken500i 2nd run, vs Fiddle 461

Filmed in December 2020. This is the second test session with the Franken500i and first with Mr. "Fiddle's" Insane-O SS-ized 461. Watching a R&D test session here folks. I "thunk" it up, applied it to the saw, and now we all watch the outcome. I never said it is, or will be, the end all in saw tuning for this particular model. I noticed that the log became more solid in each subsequent sawing run. The Franken500i was starting to skirt the edge of the knot. The 461 had the worst of it by far. More solid AND more of the knot. I also noticed that the stock 500i struggled with chain chatter. The Franken 500i & Fiddle 461 exhibit more power and smooth the chain out. Looking at the timed runs - Stock 500i at 13,620 went 23.17 down, 23.80 (stopped) and 22.50 up Franken500i ~ mid 13s went 23.88 down and 22.64 up Fiddle 461 at 12,960 went 22.96 down and 22.84 up. Despite what the timed runs show, the 461 is winning here. The wood is more dense and it was getting a nice sample of the knot. With any luck, Mr. "Fiddle" will make his position known on the Insane-O SS 461 and it's performance. I'm currently available for custom saw modification.
