7+ hours of sleep and still tired? Here is how to fix it | Chris Surel | TEDxFS

NOTE FROM TED: Please do not look to this talk for medical advice. This talk only represents the speaker's personal views and understanding of deep sleep and health. We've flagged this talk because it falls outside the content guidelines TED gives TEDx organizers. TEDx events are independently organized by volunteers. The guidelines we give TEDx organizers are described in more detail here: http://storage.ted.com/tedx/manuals/t... Tired and exhausted people are told to sleep more. But as Chris Surel impressively demonstrates this is not the solution for most people. The recovery and sleep coach reveals with real life examples what the underlying problem is and how deep sleep densification can help us reach a whole new level of energy, performance, health & happiness. Chris Surel is a former tennis player, Roland Berger strategy consultant, senior executive and startup founder. During this time, he says he “did everything wrong you could possibly think of” with regard to his own health and wellbeing (which almost cost him his life). But he learned a lot from it. Today he is a performance recovery & sleep coach to CEO's, executives and entrepreneurs around the globe, in-demand keynote speaker, thought leader in the sustainable high performance space, founder of The Sleep Genome Project and creator of the Strategic Performance Recovery System. He is helping big corporates, the leading consulting companies and fast growing startups to upgrade and sustain their people's energy, performance, health & wellbeing. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
