Land Rover 110 - v8 auto conversion
Engine and transmission conversion of a 1985 Land Rover 110. It was a 2.5 NA Diesel with LT77 manual box, it's now a 3.5 Rover v8 (with Lucas Hotwire injection system from a 3.9) and ZF 4HP22 auto box. This is my own vehicle, I fancied a change from the 2.5 NA so this was my Christmas holiday project. This vehicle doesn't do huge miles, so I can live with the thirst - though an LPG conversion is in its future. There are a million different ways you could do this job, this is just one of the many! There are numerous potential engine and gearbox combos, plus personal preference as to positioning etc. Anyway, I hope someone finds at least something of interest :)
