Eagle’s Nest Ministries | Celia Goddard

Filmed at the 1st 21x21 Showcase Event on 7 November 2019 at University of Stellenbosch, Bellville Campus, Cape Town, South Africa. Eagle’s Nest Ministries was founded in 2005 by Dave and Celia Goddard, as an NPO aiming at setting up and running primary schools in disadvantaged areas of South Africa. Eagle’s Nest Christian Primary School is the first such school. It was started in 2006 and is located in Wallacedene, an informal area of Kraaifontein, on the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa. Their vision is to uplift these communities by providing children from grade R to grade 7 with an education of excellence, irrespective of their social, financial, cultural or religious backgrounds. Most of these children are from very poor homes and some arrive at school with empty stomachs and a lack of the most basic necessities. Eagle's Nest Ministries have been blessed to see the change in the children through their schooling principles and quality care. The ministry is headed by director, Celia Goddard, and a board has been appointed to provide guidance and manage the finances. The board itself consists of passionate individuals who bring their own areas of expertise to the table, ranging from the finance sector, labour relations and graphic design. The board meets once a month with the director and school principal to discuss school business and operational issues and decide together on the actions to be taken. The school parents and teachers have appointed a support group which represents the learners and parents. https://www.eagles-nest.org.za/ 21x21 Online TV: Thank you very much for watching this showcase: We trust you were inspired by what you heard. We ask that you take three action steps: 1. Boost a Beneficiary by "liking" this video and forward this YouTube link far and wide. 2. Introduce us to Cheerful Donors and Proven Beneficiaries that we can consider for future events and come and support them at our Gala Event where the top 9 winners will present again for the first prize. 3. If God moves your heart to be generous, listen and obey. If you are not sure, arrange a personal meeting. Maybe your contribution can be the perfect match for the exact need of these beneficiaries. Whether it be to: volunteer your time, act as a mentor or make a monetary donation. Your decision is a direct matter between you and God because it is written: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7
