FRANCES ALDA as Mimi - Donde lieta usci.. 1914

Another recording that doesn't get quite as many airings as you might expect, but then I suppose there were others filling the limelight in this role at the time. The opening photograph is of Ms. Alda in her "Mimi" costume. Although the voice is of course, different, the method of attacking notes cleanly reminds me of Emma Eames, which is another way of saying I like it.
