Life with God does not guarantee us a lack of fatigue or pressure, but it teaches us where to find inner strength when we reach a place of crisis. The story of the prophet Elisha shows that even a person walking in signs, wonders, and God's power can succumb to fear and overwhelm, reacting by fleeing to a place of complete isolation and loneliness. Isolation, a flood of thoughts, and spiritual weakness do not appear suddenly—they are the result of a loss of inner nourishment, without which it is easy to fall into the chaos of decisions and doubt one's calling. God's voice, "Arise and be refreshed," is an invitation to inner renewal and renewal, provided by nourishment from Heaven! Sleep and rest are necessary, but they cannot replace spiritual strength, because true nourishment comes from closeness to God and His Word.
