Venturi mask oxygen therapy is used to deliver low- and high-flow oxygen concentrations. These masks are precise, safe, and easily controllable, allowing oxygen concentrations between 24% and 50% to be achieved, adjusted by adjusting the Venturi device. This method allows the inhalation of ambient air mixed with the supplied oxygen. A simple mask is fitted to a tracheal-type connection, connected to the Venturi, which has a variable opening, determining the desired flow and oxygen concentration. Both the flow and concentration are indicated on the Venturi itself, which are differentiated by color. You can also use the entire system without the Diluter Holder, as it will be used when the patient requires nebulization, eliminating the need to stop oxygen therapy to perform nebulization.
