IAC Ramp Down in Holley Terminator X for Fox Body Mustangs
In this video, I discuss the IAC Ramp Down functionality within the Holley Terminator X EFI System. In working with a gentleman named Jay Mosely, we have uncovered an issue in the tune that causes the rpms to hang high for a bit every time he gets off the throttle and attempts to coast to a stop. This is caused by settings in the IAC Ramp Down functionality that request the idle air valve's duty cycle to remain high until certain conditions are met. This video gives you ideas for how to make adjustments to this part of your tune to get the rpms to drop quickly and smoothly into your target idle rpm range.
