Australian-born rangatahi Māori Meremaraea Tairea-Katipa has made a life changing move back to Aotearoa to reconnect with her culture, by taking part in her school’s kapa haka group and taking the stage at the recent National Secondary Schools Kapa Haka Competition. Aukaha reporter Maioha Panapa caught up with Meremaraea.
